Mr. Dinneen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a B.A., with honors, in Philosophy, 2001.  He later attended the University of Texas School of Law where he earned a J.D., with honors, in 2007.

In the time between college and law school, Mr. Dinneen served as the Senior Account Manager for a private investment firm that specialized in the buying and selling of precious metals and numismatic coins.  Recognizing the potential upside of the gold market, Mr. Dinneen helped his clients invest over $5,000,000.00 in gold bullion and related assets while gold was still trading in the $280.00-$380.00 per/oz. range.  In line with his original predictions, gold has since spiked to over $1,000.00 per/oz.

While in law school, Mr. Dinneen served as an associate editor on the Review of Litigation and was also actively involved with the Board of Advocates.  As a member of numerous mock trial and moot court teams, he traveled all around the world representing the University of Texas at various events.  In 2007, as a participant in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, he received an Honorable Mention for the brief that he co-wrote and edited.  During oral arguments at the pre-moot in Paris, France, and during the tournament itself in Vienna, Austria, Mr. Dinneen went undefeated earning top speaker in multiple rounds.  Mr. Dinneen also took first place in the 2005 Gardere Mock Trial Tournament.

Having twice been published in Venture Magazine: Harvard’s Business & Technology Review, Mr. Dinneen’s articles on a proposed internet access tax and the cost of rebuilding Iraq earned him a place on the magazine’s staff—a distinction never before bestowed upon non-Harvard alumni.

Active in the community, and as a former policy debater while in high school and college, Mr. Dinneen continues to be involved with the high school debate community.  He currently volunteers as an assistant coach for a local Houston high school team in addition to volunteering as a judge at tournaments throughout the state.  A firm believer in pro-bono work, Mr. Dinneen has already worked one such case to a very favorable cash settlement for his client, and another to an outright non-suit against his client.

When he is not at work, Mr. Dinneen is an avid guitar player and pool shooter.
