Mr. McLaurin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a B.A., with honors, in Economics, 2002. He later attended the Loyola University, New Orleans where he earned a J.D., cum laude, in 2007. The majority of Mr. Mclaurin’s work focuses on defending employers in the offshore marine industry against claims arising under the Jones Act and the LHWCA. He also has experience handling premise liability, product liability, breach of contract, insurance coverage litigation/opinions and general litigation. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2007. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association. |
