Mr. Tweedy’s work predominately focuses on defending employers and insurance carriers involved in claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act, and the Outer Continental Shelf and Lands Act. Prior to joining Brown Sims, P.C., Mr. Tweedy served a two-year federal clerkship with the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges.
Mr. Tweedy received a Bachelor of Science in 2004 from Louisiana State University. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2008 and received a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans College of Business in 2008.
Mr. Tweedy was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2008. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and New Orleans Bar Association.
