Most of Katie’s work focuses on complex litigation involving maritime law and related coverage issues.  Prior to joining Brown Sims, P.C., Ms. May served a two-year federal clerkship with the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006 from the Louisiana State University, and received a Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.

Ms. May was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2009. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
