Most of Michael Wright’s work focuses on negligence cases, including products liability and premises liability.
Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Wright worked for a national tax consulting firm where he specialized in the § 41 credit for increasing research. Mr. Wright assisted businesses in identifying and claiming tax credits based on research and development efforts. Feeling the desire to pursue a more traditional legal career, Mr. Wright joined the team at Brown Sims to put his litigation skills to the test. He believes the best way to serve clients is to identify client needs and address them quickly and thoroughly while maintaining an unwavering commitment to justice and ethics.
Mr. Wright is active in a national community service organization and spends much of his spare time administering one of the organization’s largest community service projects that takes place annually on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin. Mr. Wright is also an avid blues guitarist and can be seen performing occasionally in Houston area pubs.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 from the University of Texas, and received a Juris Doctor in 2007 from the University of Houston where he participated on the interscholastic mock trial team and wrote for the law school’s newspaper. |
