In a world where international business is prevalent, clients need lawyers with global knowledge and experience. Stanley X. Wan is such a lawyer.

He is one of the very few people who are sufficiently trained in law in both the U.S. and China. He completed a Juris Doctor degree with a Dean’s Scholarship from the University of Kansas. Mr. Wan also received a Bachelor of Law degree from Peking University, one of the two most prestigious and exclusive universities in China. There he specialized in International Economic Law. In addition, Mr. Wan received a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Georgetown University and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Besides his strong academic credentials, Mr. Wan has valuable experience in legal and business areas. He has worked for Daiwa Securities SMBC, a global investment bank, and for a major environmental-products manufacturer in Beijing, China. His experience also includes working in immigration and naturalization.

Mr. Wan is a member of the Texas Bar and the Missouri Bar. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. During his spare time, he is a voluminous reader of law and other subjects to satisfy his intellectual appetite.
