Business Law and Litigation are the two areas to which Mr. Anand devotes a majority of his practice. Mr. Anand’s strong litigation practice, coupled with his business background, place him in the unique position of being able to competently advise his business clients on how to manage their day-to-day affairs, while avoiding the complications of litigation in the process.
Mr. Anand is fluent in several languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi, and he is actively studying French at L’ Alliance Française de Houston. Mr. Anand is involved with several professional organizations, including the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the American Bar Association. He is also very involved with the local community and volunteers with several nonprofit organizations. He has recently become involved with the Houston Bar Association’s Legal Line project where he volunteers his services by providing legal advice to Houston area callers.
Mr. Anand has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, which he earned with high honors, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, also from the University of Houston.
