Overview
Ms. Averill's practice focuses on complex multi-party litigation matters. She defends oil and gas and industrial clients in matters that have resulted in catastrophic injuries. She also handles indemnity actions, insurance coverage, breach of contract, and first-party insurance claims.
Ms. Averill also defends restaurant and bar owners in Dram Shop Act claims.
Raised in Dallas, Ms. Averill graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a member of the Order of the Barons and served as the Chief Articles Editor on the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy.
