Overview

Ms. Rubenstein’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Defense Base Act (DBA).

Ms. Rubenstein obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston in 2015. She then attended the University of Miami, where she obtained her JD and MBA as a Deans Merit Scholar at the School of Law and a Graduate Business Fellow at the Herbert Business School.

Ms. Rubenstein has been defending claims under the LHWCA and DBA since 2021. Her professional background also includes experience in federal civil litigation with a focus on civil rights defense and labor and employment law.
