Desmin A. Johnson

Ms. Johnson is a proud Houstonian who grew up in the suburb of Katy, Texas. Her practice focuses on insurance defense and general civil litigation.

Ms. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University in 2021. She then attended South Texas College of Law in the heart of Houston, Texas.

While earning her Juris Doctor, Ms. Johnson was an avid moot court competitor and was named Best Advocate at the 2025 Domenick L. Gabrielli Moot Court Competition. She also served as an Agosto Fellow for the law school’s Center for Diversity and Equity.

Outside of the office, Ms. Johnson enjoys supporting her Texas Aggies, exploring the city, and spending time with friends and family.
