Overview

Mr. Eckels is a Shareholder at Brown Sims in Houston, where he handles complex litigation defending businesses in commercial litigation involving a variety of bodily injury and property damage claims. Having tried dozens of cases to verdict, he navigates clients through litigation with a trial-lens developing collaborative defense strategies aligned with case facts and client values. A subject matter expert in his field, he is committed to delivering integrity, excellence, and value to his clients, colleagues, and community.

Outside of work, Mr. Eckels enjoys the challenge of gardening organically in Texas (which is not easy) and spending time with his family, especially his grandson.
