Overview
Mr. Butera earned a B.A in Biology from the George Washington University and a J.D. from Tulane University. He also earned a Certificate in International Law from Tulane University.
Mr. Butera’s practice focuses on Defense Base Act and insurance defense matters. He previously worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, practicing employment and labor law, and litigating before the Merit Systems Protection Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as representing the U.S. Government in arbitrated labor disputes.
When he is not working, Mr. Butera likes to jog along Buffalo Bayou and try Houston’s many diverse restaurant options.
