Phytiema A. Johnson

Ms. Johnson is a trial attorney licensed to practice law in both Texas and Florida, with a strong record of success in personal injury and insurance defense litigation. She has first- and second-chaired multiple trials, consistently achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. Ms. Johnson is dedicated to delivering strategic, results-driven representation, emphasizing efficiency, precision, and client-centered advocacy.

Prior to joining Brown Sims, Ms. Johnson served as Staff Counsel for major insurance carriers and as a plaintiff’s trial attorney, gaining experience on both sides of litigation.

Ms. Johnson earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she graduated in the top 30% of her class. She also holds a Master of Business Administration, cum laude, from Florida International University with a concentration in Negotiations. Recognized for her professional excellence and leadership, Ms. Johnson was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” by the National Black Lawyers Association and inducted into the International Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.
