Overview

Silas Ditocco is a Florida attorney with a well-rounded litigation background spanning both insurance defense and plaintiff-side representation. This dual perspective gives him a comprehensive understanding of case evaluation, strategy, and negotiation from every angle of a claim.

On the defense side, Silas has represented clients in commercial litigation matters, managing all phases of discovery, conducting legal research and analysis, and advocating for clients in court proceedings. On the plaintiff side, Silas has managed high-volume personal injury caseloads from intake through resolution, handling case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and settlement negotiations, and has negotiated directly with insurance adjusters and counterparties to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Earlier in his career, Silas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Scott Suskauer of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, where he researched and briefed complex evidentiary and procedural issues in high-level criminal proceedings.

Silas is now expanding his practice to include Defense Base Act (DBA) claims with Brown Sims. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, and is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
