Most of Ms. Sheppard-Wilson’s work primarily focuses on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Defense Base Act (DBA).

Prior to joining Brown Sims, Ms. Sheppard-Wilson worked as a personal injury attorney, where she acquired invaluable experience.

Ms. Sheppard-Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, and received a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston where she graduated #5 in her class. Ms. Sheppard-Wilson’s proudest moment thus far was when she taught Constitutional Law to a class of high school students. When not litigating, Ms. Sheppard-Wilson enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to podcasts, and solving puzzles.
