Hellieth J. Pedroza Guzman was born and raised in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, and emigrated to the United States at the age of 17. She went on to attend Sam Houston State University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree at 20 years old. Ms. Pedroza then went on to accomplish her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center at 24 years old.
Following law school graduation, Ms. Pedroza joined one of Houston’s most prestigious plaintiffs’ law firms and represented injured parties from all parts of Texas. She took pride in this work and a few years later, she was recruited by an insurance defense firm with a core competency in construction defect. It was a cathartic moment in Ms. Pedroza’s career as she found her true passion laid in zealously defending parties and in the complex and unique litigation issues that entails.
Ms. Pedroza has always thrived under the most stressful of situations and has been able to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients. Her unique background and unwillingness to take no for an answer have aided her in settling the most complex of cases whilst ensuring her clients are getting the best results.
