Jasmine (Jas) A. Jordan, raised in Hatchechubbee, Alabama, is an associate with the firm who focuses on complex litigation disputes.
Throughout Mr. Jordan’s law school career, he tenaciously sought experience in various areas including general civil litigation, wills, guardianships, and criminal matters. There, he formed Etiquette at Law; an organization where he and his executive board taught students the importance of professionalism and appearance.
Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Jordan worked for a Houston based boutique firm where he handled a wide range of matters involving personal injury, breach of contract, real property, and defense of first party claims. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Jordan is a seven year service member of the Texas Army National Guard. Currently, he serves as a First Lieutenant in the 1-149th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion.
Mr. Jordan graduated summa cum laude from both The University of Alabama and Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Mr. Jordan possess an instinct for problem solving. When not litigating, he fulfills that instinct by volunteering for organizations such as the Houston Food Bank. He enjoys empowering and encouraging underprivileged individuals that anything is possible despite current situations.
