Most of Mr. Chu’s practice focuses on general civil litigation, premises liability, products liability, and medical malpractice.
Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Chu worked as a Prosecutor with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, bringing justice to the citizens of the State of Texas. With numerous misdemeanor and felony trials under his belt, Mr. Chu is incredibly comfortable in the courtroom and handling complex investigations.
Mr. Chu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Before ultimately deciding to attend law school, Mr. Chu began coursework for a Masters of Science in Finance at the University of Houston.
Mr. Chu is a proud graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. During his time at UT Law, Mr. Chu participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and was a member of the Texas Review of Law and Politics, where he served as an Articles Editor and Chief Manuscripts Editor. While in law school, Mr. Chu earned the CALI award for the highest grade in torts, and honors in legal writing and advocacy.
