Karl R. Taylor is a native Texan from Cuero, Texas. His practice with Brown Sims focuses on complex litigation matters involving insurance coverage in personal injury, general civil litigation, and collections
Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Taylor worked in insurance defense litigation handling matters involving personal injury, breach of contract, and construction defect as well as business partnership and commercial disputes.
During law school, Mr. Taylor worked with a drug and medical device personal injury firm focusing on cases nationwide involving Accutane, Transvaginal Mesh, and other medical devices and prescription drugs. Mr. Taylor was also active in the Student Bar Association and a member of Currents: International Trade Law Journal.
While not at work, he enjoys cooking, staying active, reading, golf, and is a proud uncle.
Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law-Houston in 2012.
