Much of Kevin Shaghaghi’s work focuses on general civil litigation matters involving insurance law issues and personal injury defense.
Mr. Shaghaghi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a Concentration in Law and Public Policy and a Minor in Public Administration, from the University of St. Thomas where he graduated with honors. He also received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law where he graduated with honors. As a native Houstonian, Mr. Shaghaghi is proud to use his knowledge, skills, and abilities representing the people and businesses which have helped make Houston a global focal point in trade and culture.
While in law school, Mr. Shaghaghi had the unique opportunity of working with a Federal Judge in the Southern District of Texas, the Galveston District Attorneys Office, the Texas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, and lead South Texas College of Law’s Construction Law Journal for two years. Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Shaghaghi began his career representing Plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury cases and has now transferred his experiences to the necessities of the defense bar.
When he isn’t working at the office, Mr. Shaghaghi can be found around town enjoying the Houston’s numerous bars, restaurants, and comedy clubs. He enjoys being outdoors, going to museums, and watching movies.
