Brown Sims Shareholder Tarush R. Anand Appointed to Executive Committee of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association
Brown Sims, P.C. is pleased to announce that Shareholder Tarush R. Anand has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association (NRRDA), where he will serve as Secretary. Tarush has served on the NRRDA Board of Directors since 2022 and is currently in his second term, making his elevation to the Executive Committee a recognition of his sustained leadership and commitment to the association’s mission.
Tarush is a shareholder (partner) in Brown Sims’ Houston office, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance defense. With nearly two decades of litigation experience, he represents clients across a broad range of industries, including retail, hospitality, construction, energy, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, and transportation. He has extensive trial experience and has argued before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals. He is often engaged for second opinions on high-exposure matters and to assume lead counsel responsibility in complex cases on the eve of trial.
His appointment to the NRRDA Executive Committee reflects both his depth of experience defending retail and restaurant clients and his active role in shaping the direction of one of the defense bar’s leading industry associations.
