Overview

Mr. Castillo is an Associate in the firm’s South Florida office. He brings a diverse legal background spanning products liability, commercial disputes, transactional matters, and personal injury.

Before joining Brown Sims, Mr. Castillo managed a caseload of complex litigation matters involving products liability, toxic torts, business disputes, and first-party property claims, guiding cases through every phase from strategy to resolution. During law school, Mr. Castillo assisted in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services company with mergers and acquisitions due diligence, regulatory compliance, and contract drafting. He also gained pre-ligation experience at a personal injury firm, further broadening his practical skill set.

Mr. Castillo earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He was a member of the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review, where he served as an Articles and Comments Editor.
