Ms. Fordyce began her professional life as a journalist, working in newspapers throughout Texas and Florida. She now brings her fact-gathering and deadline-writing skills to the zealous representation of her clients.
Ms. Fordyce represents a variety of clients, including representing apartment complexes and other landowners against claims of inadequate security. She also has represented clients in matters involving construction defects, personal injury at construction sites, and wrongful death cases.
Ms. Fordyce received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, where she was a reporter for The Daily Texan. Before starting law school, she was the assistant sports editor for The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Florida, for five years. Ms. Fordyce graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 2008. At South Texas, Ms. Fordyce served as a Langdell Scholar and an assistant editor on the South Texas Law Review.
