Brown Sims obtained full summary judgment in a ride-share liability case, defeating claims of negligence and negligence per se asserted against our client. Plaintiff alleged that our client failed to obey a traffic signal and caused a collision resulting in substantial bodily injuries and damages. By identifying the key legal issues early, President, Shareholder, and Director Robert Browning, Shareholder Allie Schackel, and Associate Nicholas Knowles successfully persuaded the court that Plaintiff’s claims could not survive as a matter of law.
