- Successfully secured summary judgment for a major airline client in a personal injury and defamation lawsuit where plaintiff sought seven-figure damages by demonstrating that the claims lacked factual and legal merit, leading to a full dismissal with prejudice.
- Obtained summary judgment securing a complete dismissal of all claims against a commercial insurer in a construction defect and insurance coverage dispute. The plaintiffs sought coverage under a commercial general liability policy for alleged defective construction work, breach of contract, and negligence. We successfully argued that the policy’s exclusions—including those for breach of contract, faulty workmanship, and classification limitations—precluded coverage.
- Obtained summary judgment in a maritime insurance coverage dispute where the plaintiff sought compensatory and punitive damages by demonstrating that the insurer acted reasonably in denying additional payments after a thorough investigation and expert medical analysis showed no basis for further liability.
- Represented children’s car seat manufacturer against defective-design product liability claims, emanating from a catastrophic accident that left a young child paraplegic. Plaintiff’s counsel, who had recently secured an eight-figure trial recovery based on similar claims and injuries, estimated the value of plaintiff’s damages at a comparable amount.
