Congratulations to Sasha Grover and Michelle Dougherty for their victory at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on the Defense Base Act claim of Makhmoor v. Mission Essential Personnel, No. 18-70723 (9th Cir. October 28, 2019)! The Ninth Circuit affirmed the Benefits Review Board, which had affirmed the credibility choices of the Administrative Law Judge in determining that the claimant failed to prove that he sustained a work-related psychological injury.
