Jahlen G. Livingston is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Houston office, focusing his practice primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Defense Base Act (DBA).
Mr. Livingston earned his Bachelors of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Carolina in 2016, and graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022. During law school, Mr. Livingston served on the Student Bar Association for two years as a 1L representative and co-association program and event coordinator. Mr. Livingston actively participated in the Randall O. Sorrels legal clinics as a legal assistant in the Immigration law, Animal law, and Landlord-Tenant law practice divisions. Mr. Livingston was a member of the 2019-2020 Dean Advisory Board, and proudly served as a member of the Black Law Student Association.
Mr. Livingston was admitted to the Texas Bar in October 2022.
