Ms. McDonald’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Defense Base Act (DBA).
Ms. McDonald earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science (magna cum laude) from St. Edward’s University in 2019 and her Juris Doctor (summa cum laude) from South Texas College of Law in 2022. During law school, Ms. McDonald was a Langdell scholar for Civil Procedure I and a Presidential Fellow. She received CALI Excellence Awards for Federal Income Taxation, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Secured Transactions, and Texas Trial and Appellate Procedure. Ms. McDonald is also a certified mediator.
