Zachary Boudreaux is an associate at the firm’s Houston office. Mr. Boudreaux’s practice focuses primarily on the defense claims arising under the Defense Base Act as an extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Spanish minor in 2017 from Louisiana State University. In 2022, he earned a Juris Doctorate and an Environmental Law Certificate from Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law. In pursuit of his Environmental Law Certificate, he enrolled in a variety of maritime courses, which lead to his position as an associate of Loyola’s Maritime Law Journal. As an associate of Loyola’s Maritime Law Journal, Mr. Boudreaux hosted the Annual Longshore Conference, which unites all DBA practitioners around the world to discuss the intricacies of the practice and proudly presents speakers from Brown Sims each year.
